Arm balance workshop
Service Description
This workshop will focus on alignment and strength in eight different arm balance postures. Class will begin with a 15 minute high-energy flow that focuses on building up flexibility, strength, and balance. There will be a brief demonstration of each pose and how to get into it followed by 10 minutes of practice with instructor assistance. Use of props and the wall will be encouraged. To start we will focus on crow and side crow. Next we will move on to flying pigeon, one legged revolved flying pigeon, and flying lizard. Finally, we will practice headstand, forearm stand, and handstand with the opportunity to practice press to handstand. Any left over time will be spent taking requests. This is your time to play so I encourage you to take this time to practice any pose you've been wanting to try! - Workshop focused on strengthening and practicing various arm balances from crow to handstand! - Energetic 15 minute flow to start to the workshop - Ample time to practice each posture with instructor assistance!
